Results of the 2017 Junior Club Team Championship
The ERUGC Junior Team Championship was one of four competitions incorporated into Driffield's Junior Open held on Thursday 1st June 2017; the other events being the Junior Open itself, The East Riding Alliance Weston Cup and a Daily Telegraph Qualifier. The day attracted an entry of 52 under 18's including seven girls.
Winners of the Union Junior Team event retaining the title they won in 2016 were Hornsea with a score of 207, one shot better than their winning score last year and five shots clear of their nearest challengers. Once again Hornsea were represented by William Marshall (68), Harry Anderson (64) and Albert Anderson (75) with the three players now heading for Sandburn Hall Golf Club on Sunday, 9th July for the Yorkshire Finals. We wish them well.
Note of Concern:- Once again less than 50% of the twenty four Union Member clubs had junior representation at the Junior Open.

Note for the 2018 Diary:- Junior Team Championship will once again be incorporated in the Driffield Junior Open on Thursday, 31st May, 2018. This is half term.
