The 2026 YIDU Junior League season came to a close with an abandoned fixture at Beverley. Teesside had already secured the title having won all six of their matches, but there was still much to play for as the morning foursomes ended 7-5 in favour of the visitors.
Torrential rain over lunchtime flooded many of the greens and the decision was taken to abandon the match and share the afternoon singles, in line with YIDU rules, leaving Teesside as 19-17 winners.
